Piper Rockelle became the subject of a Netflix docuseries, resulting in public concern for her well-being. Before her 18th birthday, she began hanging out with the Bop House
Piper Rockelle’s life was put on full display after an explosive docuseries, which has become a fan-loved genre on Netflix, took a look at her rise to fame in the age of the internet.
Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing dove into the underbelly of the ever-growing influencer industry. She began her life in the limelight at only age 8 when her mother helped start her social media profiles, which was filled with videos of herself and friends. The group received the name “Squad.” A mix of childhood antics and carefree crushes began the center of the content, which appealed to a young crowd.
However, her mother, Tiffany Smith, who led the direction of their social media as a manager, was slammed with a lawsuit by the parents of the friend group, who accused her of being abusive. They claimed the kids experienced “inappropriate, offensive and abusive treatment” like “wildly offensive and sexually explicit comments.” Tiffany denied the allegations, later settling the lawsuit for $2 million with no admission of wrongdoing.
While Piper’s friends were able to opt out of the industry, take a step back, or create content on their own terms, Piper still remains teamed up with her mother.
Tiffany and Piper declined to comment to the documentary members In a statement from Piper to PEOPLE about the lawsuit, she said, “Not just because of the people making ridiculous claims about me and my family but also how the media has been. It’s become impossible to even look at my phone or do normal, day-to-day things. It’s been so incredibly painful. Thank goodness for my family. And thank goodness this is finally behind us.”
Where is Piper now?
Piper turned freshly 18 on Aug. 12, 2025. In the time leading up to her birthday, she expanded her social media presence, including profiles on Snapchat and Brand Army. As for her content, it apparently took a bit of a turn.
Before her 18th birthday, former Squad members discussed how Piper was mingling with a new group, making a visit at the Bop House in February. The controversial content group focuses primarily on OnlyFans and provocative content.
What is the Bop House?
The Bop House is a group of young women who create adult content. They live together in a mansion in Florida. As of writing, the group includes Sophie Rain, Aishah Sofey, Summer Iris, Alexandra Rae, Julia Filippo, Alina Rose, and Ava Reyes. They’ve embraced the structure of content house before them like Team 10 and Hype House, but targeted a different audience. By growing their public facing social media, they work to increase their revenue on both OnlyFans and through brand collaborations.
Is Piper joining the Bop House?
No official word yet on if Piper is planning to make a move into adult content soon. After her visit, she told Rolling Stone she had a great time at the house, emphasizing that, as someone who was underage, she did not create sexual content with them. Of her collaborations with one creators, Piper said, Why would I not take that opportunity, just because she does something that shes of age doing, and I wont be part of? I just did TikToks with them, it was great.
In a video just 5 days before her birthday, Piper posted a video of herself flailing around as she mock dueled someone. “Me fighting the bop allegations,” she wrote.
Piper’s Instagram, though, became increasingly scandalous leading up to her birthday. She put an extra focus counting down the days to turning a legal adult. In a series of posts and videos, she dressed in more provocative clothing, including outfits that showed off her bra through cropped shirts.
In one video, Piper showed off her 18th birthday photoshoot, which featured her posing bent over a car while wearing what appeared to be a swimsuit top. In another series of photos, she wore only a bodysuit while sitting in an empty bathtub with a cake. “hiii fellow adults,” she wrote in one caption while blowing out the candles of a cake, which was covered in lipstick stains.
The Bop House also appears to be teasing something big. On Aug. 20, the group made a post that said, “BIG announcement in 2 days!”
